This is a great 1900's rich deep black wool jacket. Very well tailored fitted jacket. The wool is in the most pristine condition. Tight woven. Just gorgeous. Has a wide collar that curve around the back neck of the jacket with a wider back. the collar is trimmed with back velvet. The lapels are a nice size and stitched with five decorative stitches that goes all around the jacket, collar and around the sleeve cuffs. The cuffs are all trimmed with black velvet.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eJacket buttons down the front with five mother of pearl buttons all intact and original.\u003cbr\u003eThe jacket has a nice peplum at the back with a small flap vent. ( see photo)\u003cbr\u003eThe front of the jacket is slightly made longer than the back.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eColor of wool is in perfect condition with no fading, discoloration, holes or repairs. Overall condition is very good to excellent condition. The only thing I find is that the inside silk lining does have some issues like at the neck, armpits, hemline and at the bottom of the inside pocket show fraying But is not falling apart and the jacket was very wearable. You can not see any of the linings imperfections when worn and does not , in any way take from the wearability of this garment.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis is such a great great design and in the most great condition for its age. A real beauty.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eCompletely lined\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eCondition is again in beautiful condition the only thing I do find are behind to buttons were the buttons may have been moved for a more better fit. But thats is the only thing a I see and when you are wearing the jacket I don't even see it because it sits behind the button.
