OMG! This is the most Fabulous Rare 1950 mermaid trinket dish that can hold your sweet possessions or lovely flowers. When I found this my heart just dropped. She is perfect in every way from the two large shells to all the shells, pearls and rhinestones on top to the sweet little mermaid sitting on top. She is so cute and perfect. I believe someone made her. The two large shells are genuine shells that have been painted with a pearlized pale yellow paint and is trimmed in gold paint. All of the shells on top are real and in perfect condition. Also, the faux pearls and rhinestones are all intact. I don't see any of them missing. The two shells are placed side be side with a very well made plaster base. Very sturdy and well made. She is exquisite and a real rare find for those who love mermaid figurines from the 1950's.
