Beautiful 1940 - 1950 Volupte Vanity Purse. Plays Music!!
This beautiful Volupte vanity purse has it plays music. The wind up music box is still working beautifully. There is a sticker on the upper left side of the mirror which reads the song title called, "Anniversary Song". Simply gorgeous. From the elegant outside musical note rhinestone design to the lovely compartments inside. This purse looks to have been used slightly and still has all of it's components inside. No blemishes to the compartments inside. The outside rhinestone design is still beautiful but is missing one rhinestone which is an easy replacement. Inside it has a place for a ladies money/cigarettes, face powder and lipstick.
Several company's were known for creating these wonderful compact vanity purses. Company's like Evens, Volupte and Elgin American just to name a few.
This purse has it's original tag marked by the Volupte Company who was known for the creations of beautiful vanity purses and compacts.
This beautiful purse is in great vintage condition with only a tiny few minor surface scratches on the back and front of the purse which can be easily cleaned which I will leave that to the buyer. This is very minor and does not take away from the beauty or value of the piece. (Please see photos)

This metal purse comes with it's original black corrugated satin holder which is very rare since after some time they do get misplaced.
Purse comes with it's original clear plastic comb, powder puff and original lipstick which has not been used.
This lovely purse would make a wonderful gift to that special someone or yourself .
