This is such a great vintage rare Suki box purse of the 1950's. The outside body of the purse is brown raffia with the top being tanned painted wood depicting two Cuban dancers with a tropical background. Color is perfect and clear. Top is also with a few rhinestones. The inside is lined with a chocolate brown linen fabric. The lining is free of stains. The inside lid has a mirror attach which is in perfect condition. The bottom four feet of the purse are clear Lucite circular balls which are all intact and perfect. The handle is in perfect condition and the hinge is in perfect working order as well. The only imperfection I can see are small bits of paint loss here and there due to wear but nothing that takes away from the beauty or value of this purse. (see photos) This can definitely be touched up with paint of the same color if desired. Easy fix. Also the female dancer looks like her leg may be missing. It is very hard to tell It looks like the leg is under the dress but I thought I would mention it. You really can't see it unless you examine it closely. Other than that this purse is a true rare find and perfect for anyone's collection.
Purse is in great vintage condition. No cracks, breaks or repairs to the body of the purse.
