Beautiful rich red wool gabardine 1940's 1950's suit. Very much the style of Lilli Ann. So wonderfully preserved. I can't find anything wrong with this suit. It is in excellent condition with no flaws, holes, repairs or discoloration. Looks like it was never worn. Even though it is gabardine wool it is comfortable to wear all year long. Skirt closes at the waist with its original button and has its original metal zipper which is in perfect working order. Jacket buttons down the with it's 5 original covered buttons. In the back it has a very unique peplum design and down the middle back starting from the waist it is embellished with 5 original covered buttons. The jacket has cuffs at the sleeves and jacket is fully lined. Lining is perfect. Jacket also has shoulder pads. Very Joan Crawford. The skirt is not lined and is an "A" style. This suit does not have a label but is very much the style of Lilli Ann.
