Next up is this wonderful medium weight cotton 1940's summer 2 piece blouse and skirt tourist set with sweetheart scalloped front neckline, slight cap sleeves and a nice modest round back. Just perfect for these nice warm days to come. It is very unusual to come across a full set intact. Very much like the Mexican tourist sets. Color is vibrant with no discoloration or fading. Print is made up of palm trees and tropical designs. Both front and back of the skirt and blouse are embellished with colorful sequins. From what I can see I don't see any missing sequins. Blouse has a side original metal zipper which is in perfect working order. The skirt is a full circle skirt and has closure of hook and eye and original metal zipper all in good working order. has nipped waist and full circle skirt. Design is gorgeous. The color of the print on the set is aqua blue, fuchsia, purple, deep blue and yellow. Just gorgeous and vibrant. Condition is very very good to excellent vintage condition with fabric in very good condition as well. Color is bright and like new. The photos just don't do this 2 piece set justice. I have taken this set to be professionally cleaned and is ready to wear.
