Presented is a handsome vintage signet style men's ring in 18K gold circa 1940's. There is a white-gold band that goes around the middle of the gold band. The star sapphire cabochon stone is securely set in a frame with four prongs.
The stone is approx. .75 carats. The head is framed by intricate detailed hand-engraved scrolls and geometric motifs on the shoulders. Beautifully intricate work. The band shows a solid, slightly tapered shank.
